  • How We Love
    • Agape – (Christian Love) “Regard for a person and their good as understood by God’s moral character; especially characterized by a willing forfeiture of rights or privileges in another person’s behalf.”
      • Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. –John 15:13
    • Let love be genuine
    • Good vs Evil = Spiritual Thinking
      • I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away;  it shall not cling to me. -Psalm 101:3
  • How We Love Each Other
    • Philostorgos (family love) – “Loving a way characteristic of the relationship between husband and wife, mother and child, father and son etc.”
      • Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. -Romans 12:10
    • Based on the condition of our own heart not on the worthiness of others.
    • Summary thought on Christian Love
      • The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. -1 Timothy 1:5

    • Danger to Christianity in the US is spiritual apathy

    • Hope in God: Love, Grace, Mercy

    • Serve Outwardly
